Edward Sayegh
is an internationally distinguished vocal instructor whose students
perform original leading roles in The Producers, Jane Eyre,
Bells Are Ringing, Annie Get Your Gun, Rocky Horror Picture Show,
Follies, The Full Monty, Ragtime, Rent, Titanic, Once Upon A Mattress,
How To Succeed In Business, Sunset Boulevard, Falsettos, Les Miserables,
Cats, Phantom of the Opera, Miss Saigon, Beauty and the Beast, Damn
Yankees, State Fair, Cabaret, Chicago, Jekyll and Hyde, Les Misérables,
Falsettoes as well as major operatic artists of the Metropolitan,
Los Angeles, Berlin and La Scala opera houses.
Mr. Sayegh received his training at San Francisco
Conservatory of Music and The Conservatory of Music in Rome. He
headed the vocal department at the American Conservatory Theater
(ACT) for six years. His piano orchestral appearances include the
San Francisco Chamber Orchestra, LA Philharmonic, Glendale Symphony,
Hollywood Bowl Orchestra and San Gabriel Valley Symphony, with recitals
in London, Tokyo and New York. In 1995, he was requested to perform
for the King and Queen of Jordan.
In 1990, Mr. Sayegh published “The Sayegh/Garcia-Marchesi
Vocal Manual for the Serious Singer.” He is currently writing
his first book on vocal technique, entitled “Vocal Empowerment”.
Mr. Sayegh has been a Musical Consultant for numerous
production companies and has worked with many notable directors,
such as Oliver Stone and Steven Spielberg. He has consulted on many
international productions, including BBC Television’s “Bing
Crosby, Singer of the Century.” Most recently, Mr.
Sayegh was involved with the Ronald McDonald Benefit Concert with
Celine Dion, Nita Whittaker and David Foster for ABC Television.
Mr. Sayegh maintains studios in Los Angeles,
San Francisco and New York.
